Jack Dorsey has resigned from the Twitter board, a decision he made last fall after he left the C-suite at the social media giant.
Following a Wednesday shareholder meeting scheduled for 1 pm, Dorsey was to leave the board of directors. ET. The exit was planned and came as part of November’s announcement by Twitter CEO Dorsey.
This exit occurs during turbulent times for Twitter due to the Elon Musk-esque takeover bid.
According to the Washington Post report, Musk executives declined to answer shareholder queries and said that they would talk about it later. Musk was absent from the meeting.
