Hadean, a developer of Metaverse infrastructure, raised $30 million in Series B funding. Epic Games was the creator of Fortnite. Molten Ventures and Alumni Ventures as well as InQTel, Molten Ventures, 2050 Capital and Aster Capital participated in the Series A funding.
Hadean will create the infrastructure that Epic’s Unreal Engine can use to give metaverse capabilities, which underpins Fortnite.

Hadean is a metaverse development firm creating virtual worlds
European investment firm Molten Ventures led this round, with 2050 Capital and Alumni Ventures, Aster Capitals, Entrepreneur First, Entrepreneur First, InQTel, and Aster Capital also supporting the project, Hadean stated in a press release.
Hadean creates virtual worlds and will continue to build interoperable, secure and scalable metaverse infrastructure.
Marc Petit, vice-president of Epic’s Unreal Engine Ecosystem, stated that Hadean’s computing power would provide the infrastructure needed to create a scalable universe. “The technology of the company complements Epic’s Unreal Engine, enabling large numbers concurrent users and unlocking new tools and resources for creators and designers.”
Unreal Engine can be used to create photorealistic 3D models for film, gaming, simulations, and many other purposes. This engine powers the popular video game Fortnite. It has over 80 million active users per month and 3 million online users at any one time, according to GamesRadar.
According to the company, Hadean also signed deals with other video game giants like Sony and the company behind Minecraft.
