Experts in crypto industry have predicted that solana would be worth $166 by 2025, and $512 by 2030. “SOL is a leading player in the smart contract blockchain space. One expert said that they are likely to be the main beneficiaries if Ethereum upgrades fail to deliver lower transaction costs.
Price comparison portal Finder has updated its solana price predictions Tuesday. Finder uses weekly and quarterly surveys to make expert predictions about the future SOL prices. The company stated that its larger quarterly survey was last conducted in July 2022 and asked 54 industry experts to give their opinions on Solana’s performance over the next ten years.

Our panel believes that solana (SOL), will be worth $45 by 2022, before rising to $166 in 2025.
The panel also expects that the price of SOL will rise to $512 by 2030.
The panel is much more bearish than previous predictions. They expect SOL to end 2025 at $166, and 2030 at $512. The experts had predicted that SOL would reach $222 by the year’s end, before increasing to $486 in 2025, and $1,267 for 2030.
Gavin Smith is a Panxora Hedge Fund general partnership and is optimistic about the future solana than the average panel member. He predicted that the price of SOL would reach $76 this year.
SOL is a leading player in the smart contract space. If the Ethereum upgrades fail in delivering lower transaction fees, they will be among the main beneficiaries.
As of the writing, solana trades at $43.08, an increase of 16% over seven days and 19% over 30 days.
Finder explained that Sonala was experiencing power outages. “Stability” is a major concern as the SOL testnet is still in use until the launch the Solana Mainnet. The Solana Mainnet is supposed to stop power outages. However, 69% of our panel aren’t optimistic and predict that SOL will continue experiencing power outages. Only 6% believe that SOL will solve the problem.
Experts were also asked if it was time to sell, buy, or hold solana. Finder explained:
It is not clear what the panel thinks people should do about SOL. 40% say now is the right time to buy, 31% say to hold, and 29% advocate selling.
The panel includes university executives, crypto exchange executives and crypto research analysts as well as executives from various companies with crypto-related products.
Finder’s experts have also made predictions regarding several other cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin (BTC), ether(ETH) and cardano. In May, Finder’s panel predicted that the death meme cryptocurrency shiba ibu (SHIB) would occur.
