Senator Ted Cruz wants Texas, his home state, to be the center for crypto development.
Cruz stated, “I believe in Bitcoin.” “I want Texas to become theoasis for crypto and bitcoin on planet Earth.”
Cruz, a Republican was giving the keynote speech at the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, at an event called “Bitcoin and the American Experiment” on May 23. He was referring to the recent expansion in cryptocurrency mining at Texas.
Many potshots were made at the left-leaning side of the political spectrum during the event. Cruz spoke out about China’s recent crackdown against crypto. Senator Elizabeth Warren was also present.
They don’t like something that they can’t control. This is exactly why most Democrats dislike bitcoin. Why is Elizabeth Warren unable to sleep at night because bitcoin makes her sway and turn. Because she wants her socialist little fingers to be able control every penny in all of our bank accounts.
Cruz also criticized central bank digital currency.
